I've been wrong
You see, all these years I've been stupidly working at jobs, paying bills on time, trying as much as humanly (and medically) possible to live within my means.
These days, I can only ask myself why.
It is painfully apparent that those of us who were raised to believe that if you gamble and lose, tough shit, suck it up and deal with it, you're on your own... have been wrong.
Who knew?
I haven't quite calculated what my share of this $700 billion deal is but I'm sure it will be a lot more than the offending parties are going to have to pay.
That kinda sucks, if you ask me.

Idiotic greedy rotten arrogant #%@holes. I'm not pointing fingers: I"m including everyone who profited and screwed someone to do it.
*waves to snoring* Hi!!!!!!!
I am amazed and astonished and (very slightly) gratified that Congress is having the cajones to actually say, "No. We're going to think about this," instead of rolling over for a belly rub like usual when the Master Speaks. Maybe there is some slim hope.
But I doubt it.
It's days like this (and there've been a lot lately!!) when I'm relieved that Mom isn't here (although I wish....you know.....)- she'd die of upset - one Depression in a lifetime is plenty.
Gah.
I just don't get it.
This shit really has to hit the fan soon, right?
