Food, glorious food!

I'd do this... but theres just too many things on that list I have no idea what they are... I'd still probably eat them, just to say that I have, but yeh, I'm really bad at names even food names... I tend to call things what they look/taste/smell like... for a couple of years I called shepereds pie, potato lasagna... :P

#33 - SALTED LASSIE? As in big beautiful-rescue-Timmy-from-the-well-Lassie? *O*

#63 - Kaolin? Kaolin is Chinese clay, commonly found in cosmetics. Why anyone would want to eat clay is beyond me!

#53 - Abalone... well... in my world that is a shell that is used in jewelry making... I guess this is talking about whatever came in that shell originally?

You've never had a Big Mac? That's down right un-American! ;oP

I couldn't honestly say I had because it specifically said Big Mac Meal. I've had Big Macs - back in the olden days when they first came out - and I've had Happy Meals but I've never had a Big Mac Meal. My hubby used to live on those before I ruined his life ;)

I wasn't so sure what many of those particular items were. I know abalone is a shell but that's just the crunchy outer coating, right?
I have that same problem with bands. I can remember tunes but no idea who sang/played them. I may have eaten a number of these things but knowing what they're called is pretty unlikely for me. :) I just eats!
It refers to the meat, of course.
[this is good]
I am still looking up some of these items.

I extended the list when I posted it, and added underline emphasis for dishes I would like to try someday.
I have El Goober's problem. I haven't heard of at least half of them. I had to LOL at 70. Chitterlings, or andouillette though! It sounds so much more refined in French. (And I wouldn't touch anything from McDonalds, if you paid me!)
I posted this... fun! I've had most of these (except for roadkill and Spam, lol!). Salted lassi is a yogurt drink from India. But you didn't star any of them, so do you not like anything on this list? Not even bagels and lox? Not even Pocky? Who doesn't love Pocky?

Who doesn't love Pocky?

It's not that. It's evidence that (much like my cooking) I do not read and follow directions well. ;) I'm a rebel that way. Yeah. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

(Pocky for Men.... best. Pocky. evar!)
Lox n' bagels... *sigh* It's not so much that I wouldn't eat any of those things over and over. It's just a matter of having someone around willing to make it for me.

That's my problem too... so many delicious foods and no one to make them for me. It's depressing!
